I’ve had the privilege of working across three continents with global retailers as a consultant, operations leader, and strategist, to help them stay at the forefront of digital innovation.
In 2016, I penned my first book, Retail’s Last Mile: Why Online Shopping Will Exceed Our Wildest Predictions. As a speaker, I was able to share the book and my insights on retail digital strategy with the next generation of retailers. This added an entirely new dimension to my career and I enjoyed the diversity of connecting with so many audiences.
After five enjoyable years of running my own consulting business, I’m now delighted to be the General Manager of Eagle Eye for the Asia Pacific region. In this role, I draw on seventeen years of experience with retailers of all descriptions (department stores, supermarkets, pure-play online and omni-channel). Eagle Eye is a SaaS technology company transforming marketing by creating digital connections that enable personalised performance marketing in real-time through coupons, loyalty, apps, subscriptions and gift services.
While I've enjoyed an excitingly diverse and rewarding career, there are several proud moments which truly stand out.
Firstly, leading a project to define the online operating model for Tesco.com, helping it become the world’s largest and most profitable online retail grocer.
Another was managing a London-based supermarket, which became the top performer out of more than 600 superstores for both online product availability and employee morale.
